BMC has just installed a new machine that can grind rings up to 144 inch (12 Feet, 3.6 Meters) diameter rings. We are able to grind cylindrical, ball, spherical, and tapered roller raceways. Slewing Ring Bearings / Turntable Bearings: We can regrind ball and roller raceways with or without external or internal gear teeth. By November of 2009 we will have another machine running that will grind up to 180 inch (15 feet, 4.5 meters) diameter rings; and by March of 2010 we will have a machine installed that will be able to grind raceways up to 264 inches (22 feet, 6.7 meters) in diameter.

 

We can quote machine time on all 3 machines today so that you can better forecast your projects for the fourth quarter of 2009 and the first and second quarters of 2010. Our web site will keep you up to date on the machine installation dates.
